As the oldest auction-related web site, AuctionServices.com
has grown to become the Largest Auction Community on the Internet,
now hosting eleven (11) state auctioneer associations and close
to three-hundred (300) individual auction company sites.
With a 20-year history in the auction industry, we provide
auctioneers and state associations a cyber-home, promote and market
the auction industry and provide the portal for the public to
find auctions and auctioneers.
With an in-house staff of six (6) professionals, AuctionServices.com
has the experience, knowledge, creativity and technology to provide,
and keep, the auction industry on the cutting-edge. We are constantly
working to provide the auction industry with the newest tools,
services and features available to help the auctioneer, no matter
what his/her experience level, be able to take full advantage
of everything the Internet has to offer.
The following is a description of our services, and the prices
for designing and hosting your site. I have also included some
extra information concerning our multimedia and custom scripting
services.

We offer two (3) styles of web site design - All of which involve
custom design. We take the information that is provided and create
a professional, clean, yet user-friendly presence that can be
easily up-dated, and can also grow as your company grows and technology
changes.
Traditional HTML Pages
Custom designed HTML pages - not built from templates. Our
goal is to make your site professional as well as informative
and easy to navigate. A complete HTML site design takes approximately
three (3) weeks from the time we receive your information (photos,
logo and text information).
The traditional HTML site will include:
- Custom Designed Graphics, Page Headers and Navigation Bars
- Professionally laid-out web pages
- Complete web site statistics
- Monthly search engine submission
- unlimited email addresses
- Use of the AuctionServices.com state-of-the-art automated
auction calendar for posting of auctions
The cost for an HTML site is $200.00 for the first page
and $150.00 for each additional page.
Dynamic XML Pages
For a more progressive website, we offer the newest technology.
An XML driven site is dynamic, quick to load and can easily
be tied in with multimedia objects, external data (weather and
news) and information databases such as our automated auction
calendar. It also allows you to update your own content quickly
and easily.
The dynamic XML site will include:
- Custom Designed Graphics, Page Headers and Navigation Bars
- Professionally laid-out web pages
- Complete web site statistics
- Monthly search engine submission
- Unlimited email addresses
- Complete custom scripted site, including a fully interactive
back-side allowing the auctioneer the ability to update the
site as needed, i.e posting of news articles, posting of newsletters,
changing photos, etc.
The cost for an XML site starts at $500.00 per page.
XML Component Site:
You can take advantage of some of our new XML components without
converting your entire site. Pricing is the same as HTML sites
with additional charges for the XML components.

We can also provide special items like
- online mail forms
- marquee scripts (rolling banners that display auction calendar
info or updates)
- simple gif animations
- calculators (i.e. mortgage calculators where visitors to
your site can calculate the mortgage on a home that they intend
to buy)
- and many others items.

then chances are we can do it. In most cases, these items are
FREE.

AuctionServices.com provides all of its
accounts cutting-edge servers with blazing speed connections to
the Internet. We have complete control over the day-to-day activities
involved with our servers ensuring that they work proficiently.
Our servers are also LINUX language based (as opposed to Microsoft
NT) providing an additional safeguard against the viruses and
worms that are increasingly creating havoc in the Internet world.
Basic Hosting - $40.00 per month* (billed monthly by
credit card)
Hosting ONLY. You would control your own site updates
in-house - and would not have access to our calendar database
Hosting Plus - $67.50 per month* (billed monthly by credit
card)
Hosting, plus the following:
- Add, edit and delete your auction listing from anywhere,
24/7 using a simple online form.
- Upload up to (2) two images yourself without charge. These
images are automatically resized and thumb nailed.
- Image Gallery: The process for
posting large numbers of pictures has been automated. Using
an simple online form, you can add up to 25 photos to an
Image Gallery, complete with title and description.
The charge for each Image Gallery is $25.00.
- Your listing can automatically supply your visitors a
map from MapQuest. All that is required is that you enter
the complete address (including zip code) into the auction
calendar.
- Your listing will automatically be sent to the NAA auction
database (providing that you are a member) using our
Auction "spyder" software.
- Layout your listing in Microsoft Word and
upload the Word document with the press of one button.
The document will be converted to html and retain formatting
such as bold, underline, colored text, etc.
- Use ASUpload, which allows
our members to upload images, word documents, pdfs, etc…
directly to our server. ASUpload bypasses email and the
problems associated with file sized, etc. Uploading files
here does not automatically update your site.
- All auctions on your calendar will be included on our
National Auction List (NAL - http://www.nationalauctionlist.com).
Twice a month we send an email out to over 60,000 auction
enthusiasts promoting the auctions on the NAL. Every auction
listed has a direct link to the individual auctioneer's web
site. We average over 1.5 million unique visitors to this
site per month.
- One (1) hour account servicing - updating your company information,
changing fields in your online form, customer service, etc.
(Note: additional time will be billed at a cost of $25.00
per hour)

A setup fee of $150.00 and an extra $15.00 per month sets you up
on our Internet Bulk Email and Marketing (IBEAM) system.
This service allows you to do the following:
- IBEAM users will no longer have to keep track of the email
addresses that are generated by online mailing list forms. The
mail form itself will do the work.
- Categorized lists (real estate, antiques, heavy equipment,
etc.) will automatically be generated in your IBEAM from your
online mailing list form.
- All of your bulk emailing can be sent directly from your Internet
browser interface and will not involve your Internet Service
Provider (ISP). The bulk emails will be sent from our
mail server!
- Your email lists on IBEAM will be for 'your eyes only' and
will be password protected. We will not sell, or share, your
list with anyone!
- The IBEAM system will allow you to upload and store your present
'clean' email lists and have them readily available for sending.
- We offer the most comprehensive, targeted emailing service
that you will find anywhere on the Internet. The targeted mail
service provides you access to IBEAM targeted lists that you
can rent to form new one-to-one customer relationships which
are key to a successful e-marketing campaign. IBEAM 'opt-in'
mailing lists are not directly for sale. The cost to use these
lists includes having your message emailed to the list you are
renting. Each emailing is a one-time emailing.
- Our Gavel
Mall presently features an email harvesting software package
along with an emailing package if you wish to harvest your own
email lists. If you choose to do your own harvesting and emailing,
this is the software of choice. The harvesting process will
not endanger your ISP connection, but the 'opt-in' email can
cause termination of your ISP.
- To further expand the abilities of IBEAM, imagine Microsoft
Outlook on the web. Then imagine it's easy to use. Then imagine
you have an administrator sitting in the background to help
you when you have problems. Then imagine it works...that's IBEAM.
The National Auction List is fast becoming the largest collection
of auction listings on the Internet.
The goal of the National Auction List (http://www.nationalauctionlist.com)
is to provide our members with an additional way to promote and
market their company and their auctions (move traffic!). The
NAL is searchable, and each auction in the NAL includes a DIRECT
link to your site, and your auctions!
All auctions listed on our Automated Auction Calendar are
automatically included on our National Auction List - NAL.
Twice a month, we send an email out to over 60,000 auction enthusiasts
directing them to the NAL. Visitors have the ability to search
for an auction by Category, Keyword, or State. Once the search
criteria has been defined, a list of auctions is displayed with
a direct link to that auctioneer's web site.
From October - December, 2001,
the NAL averaged over 1.5 million unique visitors per month with
600-700 auctions per month
We also offer custom Sale Forms. For a setup fee of $150.00 (per
form) and an additional $10.00 per month (per form), we can set
as many Sale Forms as needed which you can fully maintain yourself.
Each form can contain anything from equipment to jewelry to Real
Estate. You can add one (1) photo per item (for no additional
charge), which will automatically produce a thumbnail.
Although we do charge extra for shopping carts, you will find
our prices far below that of most companies. Prices depend on
size and function. Shopping Carts are customized to fit the design
and function of your web site.
There are many different types of custom scripting which are available.
For larger companies, we have designed file sharing and contact
management databases to keep their operation "liquid". We essentially
build an Intranet on the Internet that can be accessed (with permissions
in place) by employees, clients and potential buyers. Our motto
on this subject is "if you can dream it, we can build it."
Through our sister company, Blue Ridge Digital, we have been providing
state of the art video and multimedia services for auctioneers
for many years. Our latest innovation is an interactive CD which
pulls information directly from your website, providing your clients
and potential clients with a continual stream of updated information.
We can also provide equipment and setup for presentation style
auctions as well as full video production services using a complete
digital production and postproduction process.
Prices for Multimedia and Custom Scripting vary according
to the size of the project.

There is one time setup fee of $30.00 to transfer a domain name
to our servers. The transfer process usually takes 24-48 hours
and includes transferring the domain as well as setting it up
on our servers, including FTP and email access.
We register new domain names for $100.00, per name, for a period
of two (2) years ($70.00 for registration and $30.00 setup). If
you haven't already registered you domain name, you should do
it now before someone else does.
We have a new billing system in place and accept the four (4)
major credit cards - VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
All monthly hosting charges will be billed to your credit card
as well as any other charges (web design, Image gallery, etc.)
All invoices will be sent by email before any charges are applied
so that you will have a record of each transaction.
